 For this kit Products on Demand offers a Par Style lighting fixture. This fixture has a standard screw base socket inside and works with any normal household light bulb. It is well ventilated to prevent heat buildup that would damage the color filters. The fixture is approximately 6" in diameter and 9" in length and is supplied complete with a 6-1/2" x 6-1/2" metal frame which holds the color media.   Many systems of alternative medicine and color therapy are based on the use of certain Roscolene colors. The Dinshah Health Society Spectro-Chrome colors are made by using one or more Roscolene filters in combination. The GOLD STAR BASIC KIT utilizes 26 different Roscolene filters in various combinations to create the 12 Dinshah Basic Colors. The GOLD STAR SUPPLEMENTAL KIT utilizes 10 Roscolene filters in various combinations to create the 5 Dinshah Supplemental Colors.  Rosco Laboratories introduced Roscolene filters more than 50 years ago as a major improvement over dyed sheets of gelatin. (This is why color media is frequently referred to as "gel"). Rosco Laboratories identifies all Roscolene filters with numbers in the 800's. Use these if one of our other filter sizes do not work for your needs. Roscolene filters are 20" x 24" and may be easily cut to the desired size. Products on Demand stocks all the Roscolene filters used in the Spectro-Chrome system in full size sheets.
